Letter from Our President

Dear Pathfinders,

WELCOME BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON! As President of the Peoria Pathfinders Ski Club, and on behalf of our Board, I personally welcome you to another great year of skiing, snowboarding and good times.

We look forward to your involvement in the Club as we strive to achieve the goals of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS), our parent organization. Our mission as a local NBS ski club is to promote the sport of skiing and snowboarding to the African-American community here in Peoria, Illinois. Nationally, our mission is to support athletes of color who will win international and Olympic winter sports competitions representing the U.S.

One of the Club’s proudest achievements is its relationship with the Peoria Boys & Girls Club, which helps support the activities of our Youth Ski Program. We warmly encourage you to get involved with helping to expose children to the joys of skiing and snowboarding who otherwise would not have the opportunity. The unique nature of the Peoria Pathfinders Ski Club tends to attract a diverse group of winter sport enthusiasts from across the country, so be prepared to meet a lot of new fun-loving people this season.
